Why use a bed skirt in a King-size mattress queen?
Sometimes we find under the clean bed skirt available to us are forced to use a bed skirt in a double-sized mattress. Can you fit a bed skirt king size to fit a double mattress? With some creativity, can. That is, without using scissors and needles.
A double mattress measures 60 by 80 inches, while a king-size bed measures 78 by 80 inches. To remove excess width, bed skirt will be hidden between the mattress and box spring. What over-skirt? Get the excess pin boards and box spring.
While a bed skirt king-size can be adjusted to fit a double mattress, shown is another thing to consider. There can be attractive if the bed skirt Extra Large has a fixation with the box spring especially if color is solid.
This is the problem one has to face to use a bed skirt extra large a double mattress. That's the difficulty with the type of bed skirt housing is one piece with the fabric terraces secured under the mattress. This is also true that the problem in the bed frame and mattress height for the drop bed skirt.
The saying that for every problem, there is always a real solution. Today bed skirts come in three separate panels, one panel for each side of the bed. You can find easy to adjust the drop of the skirt without having to remove the mattress to be worn.
